Prescription Overdosing

Decent Essays
As a candidate for president of the United States of America, I believe that I can make a positive difference. There are a few items on the top of my agenda that I would like to address.
The first thing that I want to address is the military spending vs. the cost of getting an education. We spend too much money on our military and not enough money on our education. Even though our military is very important, I think we should support our education too so we can bring the learning experience to a higher level. In the past years, we have spent 598.5 billion dollars on a military. That is fifty-four percent of what the US spends. That is much more than the 70 billion dollars we spend on education. That is three percent of what we spent on

In 2011, there were 41,340 deaths in the U.S. Every day 44 people die each day from overdosing on prescription painkillers, and around five people die an hour on overdosing in general. To fix this problem, I am going to fund money for more rehab centers around America. We also need to have safe prescribing practices, we need to have monitoring programs and our States need to jump in and help with the problem. We need fund drug prevention programs and support drug treatment centers like I just mentioned. Last but not least on my agenda is abortion. Twenty one percent of pregnancies end in abortion. There has been a steady decline in abortions since 1980 though. I am pro-life. The baby in the womb has a heartbeat at three weeks. When abortions are performed, the baby has arms, legs, feet, and hands I do not think this is right because babies are living people and people are killing them. One of the exceptions to making abortion illegal is if a woman is raped or sexually assaulted they will have a court file to make sure that they were sexually assaulted or raped.

These topics are very important to me and what I stand for. I hope you will stand behind me and support my campaign for Presidency. Together, we can make a stand and America forward in the right

What should the next president of the United States do to fix the economy? To fix the economy the next president should focus on changing the cost of college tuition, fixing the United States trade, and by changing the wage growth when people can get paid more. The reason why the president should focus on college tuition because reason one people don’t have enough money to go to college so that leave them getting lower wage jobs cause if they tried to get better paying job it would be hard since the employer would look more into someone who have a college degree. This can help the economy because less people would be in debt since college students had to use loans to pay the cost for the college.…

The American people are seen as the epitome of the most ungrateful and nescient humans on the planet. It is not to say that they are purposely ignorant, but it is believed that most Americans have a proclivity to not look into things which not directly concern them. In turn, this gives them a nominal understanding of what actually goes on outside of their little freedom bubble. Negative things about reality seem to be occult from their view and they are callow in terms of what actually goes on in the rest of the world. The average American carries themselves with such intrinsic aplomb, but the fact of the matter is that most of the time they forget how lucky they really are.…
