Veterans are a special population of individuals who have fought for the betterment of the American society. I chose to explore the veteran population because often they are neglected and not highlighted for their contribution to the society. Based on the research I have conducted I realized that prescription opioids are one of the drugs that are frequently abused among veterans while on duty and off duty, because of the problematic issue that they experience which results in many deaths per day due to the constant trauma that veterans experience.
I chose to use detox treatment setting for veterans because it is effectively in combating the cravings and dependences of the drug by an eliminating it from the body. This treatment system is helpful
