During pregnancy, there are many “do’s” and “don’ts” to keep the baby safe, healthy, and prepared for birth. A controversial topic of conversation that pregnant women and many others have discussed is the use of prescription and/or nonprescription drugs during pregnancy and how this effects the development of the fetus, and the development of the baby once it is born and growing. Researchers all over have been looking into this topic to let all aware of the many terrible side effects and possibilities that this could take on prenatal development, as well as the development for the child as it grows and matures. There are many different categories of prescription drugs, such as antibiotics, antidepressants, hormones, and a variety of skin medicine to help clear up acne.
