Children develop new skills rapidly around the age of four, so why not put these developmental skills to the test in a playful classroom environment? When a parent enrolls her son or daughter into preschool she allows her child to make the most out of their newfound developments. Through the different learning processes preschool offers these developments can continue to thrive and grow. Although some may argue that beginning school at the age of four is too young, research shows that preschool offers short term social-emotional, and cognitive benefits, as well as other long lasting benefits. Young kids throughout the United States should be required to attend preschool because of these various benefits. Though children do seem young when they are supposed to enter preschool the parent does not necessarily need to submit their child into schooling at full force.
