Prepper Journal: Is It Time to pay More Attention to What You Do Online?
"We believe your Facebook account and your other online accounts may be targeted for attack from state-sponsored actors" (Help Net Security, 2015).
This is a chilling warning from Facebook and if you received one, you need to take it seriously. State-sponsored actors equates to hackers in the employ of nation states trying to develop profiles on American citizens. They steal information that may not seem harmful or useful at first blush, but certain countries want to know more about how this country responds to real and perceived threats.

Your boss was grouchy, the traffic was horrid, the cafeteria at work was out of organic bran muffins again, and you and only you hit it out of the park during the presentation to the ever so important clients from overseas. The others were dullards in comparison, because the Chinese firm loved it, you could tell by their questions, they even wanted your email so they could stay in touch and ask more questions. Your physical well being is secure for the moment but the information you present in virtual real time is likely being evaluated by someone. A snippet here, a sentence there is being stored, looked at, discarded, or added to other information. Maybe someday a picture will emerge, one that displays your entire life. Someone or everyone knows your children's likes and dislikes, what schools they attend, their grades and maybe even their teacher's names. They know where your spouse/partner works, whether they received that raise or promotion and they know how you feel about all of
