During the first session, the student was given a hand out to gauge her grasp of prepositions. This first worksheet was of simple and commonly used prepositions. Student M’s performance was average, she appeared to struggle on some of the questions, but answered others quickly. This task was on Cummins C Quadrant, meaning it was an easy exercise. So, it is suggested that videos are separated by breaks or other activities in order to get the most out of them. It was apparent from the beginning that Student M appreciated the one-on-one instruction she was receiving. This seemed to be the biggest facilitator during the tutoring sessions, the availability of an educator to assist her with whatever she may need. While Student M did improve, it is of extreme importance that she keeps practicing her
