The skills needed to become a Prenatal Sonography technician would be to have good communication skills. This is mostly required in all medical jobs, but in this one they must be able to talk to the patient about what is going on and to speak to the doctor, To be very comprehensible towards the patient because there may be times when there’s something abnormal. Some of the Prenatal Sonography Technician is often standing throughout the day so a good physical stamina would help the Sonographer to get the work done on time. Ultrasound is very important, so in order to do such a precise job technical skills are needed . Hand-eye coordination is needed for emergency situations to detect something that should be there or not.(US 6)
