Homelessness is an issue in our society that needs immediate attention to be resolved. The issue of homelessness comes from a list of issues in our society some which are, drug addictions social abandonment, economic inequality dysfunctional families. Just in the city of Greensboro exists 900 homeless people The movement wants to raise awareness on homelessness and makes it an issue that needs to be addressed by our elected authorities. Homeliness leads to issues such as. Academic failing for homeless students caused by not having a house or an area to be able to spend time after school causing social and emotional anxiety having to eventually drop out from school. Homeless people have issues seeking medical attention, many which have diseases that need a specialist attention or even getting in fights to survive on the streets. the medical attentions is limited and it 's only offered under special circumstances, in homeless shelters only dealing with basic checkups however in case they need special medical attention they will not be able to acquired do to the cost of It. Not been able to get a place to live do to not having the money to afford to leave home people with the shelter option causing then to not be able to get a job, because of not having a place would count as proof of not been self-sustainable .They will not be able to put the shelter as …show more content…
