When I started going to school and socializing after moving here. I felt that people are showing prejudice towards me because I was not able to adjust with the culture here. It was very hard in the beginning because of language not able to understand and speak very well. There were many circumstances where I felt that other kids were making fun of me because of my style of dressing. Also, when I cannot be communicating well with other kids or teacher I felt that kids were making fun of me. When I was in middle school I only made friendship with Caucasian or Hispanic girls because I felt more comfortable with them, because there were many Hispanic girl who was struggling to communicate due to language barrier.
