People can have an opinion they feel is either favorable or unfavorable. I consider that when we look at a people’s opinions, it may differ from another person’s based on the general feeling that person was born with. For example, a person might be born with a Christian mindset, which can be love one as you love yourself. On the other hand, many people will go off of what their family raised them to be, and that can influence them in a very positive or negative matter. These beliefs on prejudice affects our behaviors, thoughts, and our feelings. There are many groups, social classes, skin color, gender identifications, and many more groups that we separate people into. One will say “I do what makes me feel safe, secure, and makes me fit in”. Do we as humans use prejudices as an excuse to judge? Another definition of prejudice is an unfavorable opinion or feeling formed beforehand, or without knowledge, thought or reason. So as you think about this definition you see the key word, unfavorable. What makes something unfavorable or favorable to people? That is something as people we have to figure out, because severe cases of prejudice can lead to some harmful things to the group being judged. An example that you can use is Ferguson, Missouri. If that was a black cop, would there been any riots? Then in Miami, the Trayvon Martin case, would that outcome changed if we forget prejudice or reversed the roles of those involved. There has to be a border, or a middle ground were we think to ourselves is this favorable or
