America today accepts all people, regardless of race. After laws were passed in the 1960’s (most importantly the 1964 law to remove segregation), everyone enjoys equal services. After years of discrimination, minorities began to see new opportunities and rights that were denied to them before. As the years progressed, the racism that erected a wall between races gradually began to break down. Civil Rights laws and laws to protect minorities prevented further exploitation.
