Those were the days when racism in the segregation of blacks were very prominent, and the vet now I'm war was still active and effecting many families. In those days families were very close and lived on approximately $20.98 per week. In those days teams were not allowed to wear pants or shorts in school they hung out at public pools and skating rings they idolized music/musicians like the Beatles, Elvis, and the carpenters. Musicians like rock and roll artists who gave their heart and soul into what they did. In those days life seemed less expensive. A meal including a hamburger, fries, a salad, and a milkshake cost only one dollar.
