What you had seen during your life is still seen today but, in a different degree because I believe that humans never truly change only their environment does. America has become a country that is home to people who are native to different parts of the globe. In a country with that much diversity, one would not imagine prejudice and racism to be as prevalent as it is today. This issue cannot be circumvented but must be addressed. No matter the color of one’s skin, we are still human.
