Even though we no longer shut people out of restaurants because of their skin color, we are not all on board with racial acceptance. Modern day Americans seem obsessed with bettering themselves, and they forget to build up others. They completely gloss over the fact that it is healthy to have friends that similar to them. People get stereotyped faster than they can tell you anything about themselves. So, who gets to decide what is racist, anyway? While I agree that racism still seems like a very real problem, I do not approve of using it to get what you want. Many people feel entitled to handouts because they or their family have been discriminated against. It is absolutely awful that they feel oppressed, but I do not believe it earns them any entitlement. People use the “race card” like a “get out of jail free
