Prejudice and discrimination are two main factors that play in the social interactions among people. Prejudice and discrimination start at a very young age and are usually brought about by other people's influences on them, which is a process known as social influence. People want to conform to other people's ideas and beliefs just to fit into the "in-group". An in-group is all the people with whom a particular person identifies and the out-group is everyone else. Sometimes people can't tell when they are being prejudice verses when they are discriminating.
