Satch and Me is a time travelling journey focusing on one of the greatest athletes of all time, Satchel Paige. Stosh, a young baseball player, one day is questioning his coach about historical players. This leads to the question of who threw the fastest pitch ever. Without hesitation his coach declares Satchel Paige as the owner of that title. Stosh doesn’t recognize the name and wants to learn more about one of his coach’s favorite players. With the ability to time travel, the two embark on an adventure to the 1940’s. The plot to determine if “Satch” is indeed the fastest pitcher ever, is quickly sidetracked as they face the harsh reality of 1942.
