Pregnant Should Be Allowed In High School

Is getting pregnant a sin? Teen pregnancy is inevitable, therefore teenagers who get pregnant in high school should not be withheld of an education. Being given the privilege of staying in school gives them a chance to get a good career, teaches them the responsibility, and keeps them from being isolated and doing things that could potentially be harmful to them and the baby.

Allowing pregnant teens to continue on until they finish high school, gives them the opportunity to get into a career that will enable them to provide for their child. First, granting pregnant teenage girls the privilege of being able to stay in school, gives them a chance to graduate and get their diploma. In the end, all of these components will lead to the teen being capable of earning enough money to provide for their child as well as themselves, which has been a major problem when it comes to teen parents.

Depriving teens of an education, due to the fact that they are pregnant will isolate them from other people; opening up the risk of them resulting in harmful actions. Around 15% of women who give birth suffer from postpartum depression. This is very serious because it could lead them to harm themselves or even their child. This ties into the first point which is, pregnant teenage girls should not be kicked out of school because this creates a higher potential for them to suffer from PPD (postpartum depression). Because they are being isolated from other teens, they will feel rejected and abandoned.
