Conscious Discipline Fosters a Positive Culture How many times have you left the classroom wanting to quit due to negative behaviors that the students exhibit? We start the day successful, but then somehow end the day with referrals, a sore throat and emotional distress. It is a vicious cycle that only ends with our actions and a new outlook on the culture of our schools. Learning cannot happen without balanced emotions and a social necessity, therefore creating a climate where emotions can be regulated, would promote more academic success.
