Precious wasn’t able to build relationships in the beginning due to facing these impacts and was only able to move on and adjust by building a strong relationship with fellow classmates and Ms. Rain. Although Precious wasn’t receiving positivity at home she held on to the hope of one day breaking free and having a positive life. The psychological development was changed due to the abuse and impacted Precious and will continue to impact her in the future. Precious could be triggered into her past abuse by her own children or even have flashbacks which will change how she lives her life. With an understanding of this and an ability to cope Precious can have a better understanding of how to cope and move forward from what has occurred
