After graduating high school my plan is to go to a four year college. I hope to attend either Wake Forest University. While at college I want to study pre-medical education because after pre-medical school I wish to attend medical school. I want to study this because every since I was a little kid I have always wanted to do something in the medical field, recently I have narrowed it down to either a doctor or a surgeon. I have always wanted an occupation in the medical field because I absolutely love helping people and caring for people when they do not have anyone. I want to study at one of these schools because their medical programs are equally phenomenal. They both have great teaching hospitals and more branches of hospitals throughout North Carolina. It would truly be an honor to go to one of these schools and be in their medical program. I like how these programs are greatly appreciated and honored for a lot of medical advancements and much more. I have had some experience in the medical field and so far I have a passion for it. However, me being shy has never held me back from doing something that needs to be done. It would not really matter for the people I would go to class with because we will not be at college to learn things about

My pursuit of a medical degree is greatly strengthened by the Columbia University Public Health Scholars Program (SPHSP). Prior to matriculation from the program my source of motivation held no true direction, I wanted to simply “help people”.
