In this paper I will talk about an early childhood teacher who works with pre- K students. She uses daily lesson plans which help her map out what she will teach to students. Two instructional styles were observed, teacher centered and learner centered. She used a combination of them both when it came to her teachings. High expectations for all students were observed, and the teacher used direct instructions. The children also learned through guided discovery learning. Technology wasn’t observed, although the teacher did mention, the children have access to the internet. I observed Ms. Heather’s pre-k classroom around 3:00pm.
