If God continues to love us and forgive us, then we must love our neighbor and treat them equally. As humans, we will make mistakes because we are human, yet God knows our heart and trust that we will come back and pray for salvation for our sins. The solution for humans to overcome obstacles is to consecrate a relationship with God and live by the commandments, which he served to the people.

The document starts off by explaining why God made man different from another, and cites several reasons. He argues that man should help one another in times of trouble. He mentions that they should" ...love thy neighbor as he loves himself" (Winthrop 1). Winthrop believes that they should display "love to an enemy" and that they should give beyond their abilities, but they must serve God first. Winthrop says that Christianity is bound by love, and it is love that causes people to do things out of sympathy, kindness, and the goodness of their hearts.…

The author, Nancy Pearcey makes the case that historically, Evangelical Christianity has failed miserably in presenting a robust systematic defense of its beliefs in the face of opposing worldviews. The author begins the book with a discussion on historic and modern philosophies because every worldview has a philosophical foundation. As mundane as that seems, it is necessary because every philosophy accounts for man’s purpose, the presence of evil and disease, and how man can be saved. According to the author, this is great news for Christians because Christians can use the Biblical creation, fall, redemption narrative to disarm or dismantle the dominate philosophies underpinning the nonbiblical worldviews Christians encounter in the everyday…

Dr. Mark W. Foreman warns Christians in Prelude to Philosophy to avoid the extreme case of disregarding the Bible when “doing philosophy” (94). He points out that some individuals maintain the necessity of abandoning “convictions, presuppositions and worldviews [in order to] adopt a position of neutrality in doing philosophy” (Foreman 94). According to Dr. Foreman, the individuals advocating absolute neutrality contend that a view should only be accepted “after examining all possible views from a neutral perspective” (94). Essentially, individuals partaking in philosophical investigations should be absent of all beliefs and be entirely open to any viewpoints before they accept the view that is supported by the greatest argument and evidence.…

The Existence of God The question of whether God exists or not is a difficult question to answer because there is no definite proof to prove He exists. It has been such a controversial topic that to this day there is still no universally accepted answer. A scientific point of view and a religious point of view, both have their own reasons and speculations and although some points are mutually accepted, there is no mutual answer to this question. A great majority in the scientific side will believe God does not exist while the religious side disagrees and vice versa as long as both sides have no solid proof. By a solid proof, I mean something where people can clearly see that it is in fact proof of God’s existence.…
