The Prairie Meadows Scholarship would help me further my education in the audio/video field. It would give me the education needed to succeed in AV engineering. I am going to start at DMACC at for my first year then transfer to UNI to finish.

My dad is an AV engineer and I got to go to some of his productions and watch him at work. The sound board the complete control of the camera, working with a crew to create something worth watching it all fascinated me. Since that day that’s been all i’ve wanted to do. I would make short YouTube videos and edit them and post it just to get the taste of what it would like when it came to the real deal.
