AICTE Pragati Scholarship 2018-19 For Girls
Pragati is a Scheme issued by the Department of Human Resource Ministry and implemented by AICTE. As we all know that education is one of the most important ways to empower the women with the skill, knowledge and self-confidence. These skills are necessary to participate fully in the development process. The aim of the scholarship scheme is providing assistance for Advancement of Girls who are studying the Technical Education. This is an effort to give young girls/ women the opportunity to further education and prepare for the bright future.

The selection of the candidate will be on the merit basis of the qualifying exam to peruse the respective Technical Diploma/ Degree course from any of the AICTE approved institutions.
Transferable Scheme: The Scholarships for Degree and Diploma are transferable to the eligible applicant in any of the Degree/ Diploma level Program in event of non-availability.
No. of Girl Child: Two Girls Child per family are eligible. Check NABANNA Chief Minister Scholarship.
Annual Family Income: Family income should be not more than 8 lakh per annum during the preceding financial year (the income of in-laws/ parents, in case of the married girl, the higher one will be considered).

The original certificate with their xerox copies should be kept ready by the candidate. A complete list of the documents is given below.

Annual family Income Certificate in the prescribed format issued by not below the rank of Tahsildar.
AADHAR Card.
Admission letter for the admission in Diploma/ Degree course issued by Directorate of Technical Education.
Caste Certificate for reserved category.
Certificate issued by the Principal/ Director/ Head of the Institute.
Tuition fee receipt.
AADHAR seeded Bank Pass Book indicating Account number, IFSC code and Photograph of the student.
Declaration by parents duly signed stating that the information provided by their child is correct and will refund Scholarship amount if found false at any
