Have you ever not finished your homework and need more time at school that’s what study hall would do for us kids? Currently in Foley Intermediate school, we have no study hall for seventh and eighth graders because of this we need to take an elective that we don't enjoy. The rule is we must take seven classes and at least one of them has to be an art or a music class. If we add this elective we would need to have supervisors with us in this class and we would need to have a place to have study hall. Such as a room or even the cafeteria.…

For the disability ministry project, we were asked to choose a practicum experience where we shadowed or spoke to someone helping someone with a disability. For my project I chose to spend some time in the class for disabled children at the high school I graduated from. Throughout the glimpse of time that was allotted for this particular practicum experience I learned a lot of exciting things about disabilities, but also made some disconcerting revelations. While spending the day at school I was able to interact with the students, teachers, and overall staff of the high school; gaining insights, perspectives, and forming thoughts on everything I had witnessed. From start to finish, my day back at school has left a lasting impression on me.…

Many older adults recollect their lives with fond memories, allowing them to have hope and preserve their integrity (Berger, 2010). I would like to leave behind a sense of accomplishment for me and my family, to show them that life is more than what we have currently made it to be, which is living for the weekend. That the younger generation can do better than the older generation in regards to health, emotional health, financial stability and enjoyment of life. To “live a good life” would involve me being able to assist the people I love with their dreams and aspirations, whether that be with money, inspiration or just someone to talk to when they have joyous or devastating news. I want enough time, intelligence and compassion to do for others in ways that will affect their lives in a positively.…

Senior Year My greatest memory so far in my eighteen years of being on this earth is without a doubt my senior year of high school. It was absolutely unforgettable. My senior year as a whole (which was just last year) was the most fun I’ve ever had in my life and the happiest I have ever been. When I was a chubby little freshman with glasses I thought to myself that high school would be one of the longest time periods of my life and that four years would feel like forty years. But man was I wrong, high school went by in the blink of an eye.…
