In the beginning of the class we do rocking chair that massages the back muscles and the spine which is helpful in stretching the muscles. Cobra is another useful posture for it relaxes the body if I am in the nervous or tense. I also love the back bending, since I have a bad lower back, I purposefully tent to practice postures that relaxes my back muscles. The sit and balance also is beneficial to me. This exercise tones and tightens the muscles in the abdomen. It is a little hard to do, but I notice that each time I practice this posture, the longer I can stay with it. …show more content…
At first, I find this posture extremely hard. However, after practicing this pose three to four times this has become one of my favorite. I find this so relaxing, since I have to have serious concentration and stillness to hold my pose. I more I practice YOGA, the more that I am finding that balance and stillness is what it takes to relax the whole body.
The bow is another posture that I find useful. This posture stretches my stomach muscles which relieves pain due to cramps. In addition, the sun salutation although I have not perfected this posture is my other favorite. This postures activates internal body heat and increase heart rate. This routine done quickly is an exception to the non-aerobic rule, I think this is the fastest pace of transitions we have to do in Hatha Yoga.
I believe that in these series of postures, I will find it beneficial if I practice them religiously. I plan to continue practicing Yoga and add them to my regular
