A certain intensity and fear hovered above the players. Almost like they were walking through a haunted house, taking every step meticulously, waiting for something to jump out at them. Because of that, it was not very hard for the captains to get us hyped for the kick off. From the minute we stepped off the bus we were ready. Ready to win, ready to give 110% to this game. Five minutes before kickoff, the team huddled up, and coach gave us a speech about having fun and working hard, nothing outside the ordinary. We took the field, our hearts racing with anticipation. Our defense was comprised of all seniors and was almost impervious to any attack. We were counting on them to win this game. But, that didn’t mean that the rest of us were not going to give it our all. The midfield had tricks up their sleeves that the coach didn’t even know about. And boy, we would
