She also provided a nutritious meal, even though it was it might not have been exactly what they liked to eat, however there was always food on the table. My great-grandmother wouldn’t go to bed until she had at least some bread and milk in the house. My grandmother lived in a rural area, as a child, in the county and they grew a portion of their food and raised a small amount of livestock since they didn’t have much they had to kill, clean, and prepare their own meat.
