PER REPORTER: Diane stated that she has been caring for Jacob for about three months now due to the child’s mother (Tina) not being able to properly care the child. She stated that Tina asked her a couple of months ago if she could care for the child and she told her yes. She stated that Tina had a note drawn up about their agreement, and she had the note notarized and stamped. According to Diane, the note stated the following “My son is to stay with Diane Kelly and George Allen until fourth notice, and his money is too spent on him”. Diane stated that when Tina asked her to keep the child she gave her the child’s Social Security Card, Medicaid Card, Money Card, and all of the rest of his belongings. She stated that since she has had the …show more content…
She stated that Jacob needs that money to get food, clothes, and shoes with. She stated that she called Tina and asked her why did she have the child’s card deactivated, and Tina responded “I need the money to pay my bills with this month”. Diane stated that Tina is wrong for taking the child’s money, and that she is going to spend the money on buying guy’s beer and paying her car note. Diane also stated that every since she has had the child she has spent his money on him and the things that he needs. She also stated that she has kept every receipt to prove it. Diane mentioned that she would like for someone in the county to come out to her home to talk to Jacob, and to see all of the things that she has provided for him. She stated that she has treated Jacob better than Tina ever has. She stated that when Tina had Jacob she allowed her guy friends Steve and J.C. to slap him around and whop him with a leather belt. She also mentioned that once Tina allowed Steve to put the child’s head through a bar on the kitchen sink. Diane stated that Tina did nothing to stop the incident, and she is unsure if she took Jacob to seek medical attention. She also stated that Tina never made the child take baths nor did she care that he smelled really
