Power Tv Show Title Sequence

The television show “Power” broadcast on STARZ network directed by Anthony Hemingway and produced by Curtis Jackson. This show has a brilliant title sequence created by this multi-talented individual, David Brodeur. Power is one of my favorite television shows that still have new shows and the only show I that I would watch the title sequence play through. I will be analyzing Power’s title sequence characteristic, motion graphics addressing the overall concept. In “Power” the texture goes well with the content and background in the title sequence. I like the black, and white contrast throughout the whole opening of this show the colors he chose go hand and hand the text pops out so you can see and read the words well. Besides, his main concept was to try and give the audience a feel of the main character the two different lives he was living in the show. For example, David Brodeur said, “My initial idea was to show the altering lifestyles of Ghost. Upon this concept, I began to create the juxtaposed imagery that shows his "gangster life" and his "rich glamorous life.” As you can see all of the different visuals, Brodeur added in the background of the title sequence. To demonstrate, for the main character businesses life Brodeur uses different such as, a big city and nice cars to show Ghost lives in a suburban neighborhood, a ring to show he’s married, a guy putting on a suit, women, and glasses with wine to demonstrate that he’s the owner of a club. Furthermore, Brodeur also uses different images to show that the main character has gangster lifestyle by using things like a train showing Ghost grow up in poverty, a man putting on a wife beater, money and men in all black with guns showing that he did illegal things to make his
