There are five different forms of power: Reward, Coercive, Legitimate, Referent, and Expert. Each of these forms of powers can be connected with a TV show.
Reward Power- One show that I think of is “The Chase”. Each question that the contest gets right they receive more money.
Coercive Power- The first TV show I think of is “Spongebob Squarepants” where Mr. Krab’s always threatens Squidward’s job when he does not want to do something that Mr. Krab’s asks.
Legitimate Power- “Lost” is the first show that comes to mind. On the show when they are stuck on the island they always go to Jac before doing something to make sure he approves or thinks that it is okay.
