“What should I do with my life?” I first asked myself this question when I was six and I thought I could be a Power Ranger. Much to my parents' relief, that phase ended abruptly at age seven when they took me to meet Jason David Frank - the White Ranger. In that pivotal meeting, I stood in front of a real Power Ranger and was speechless. But I wasn’t star struck, I was disappointed. This man, whom I had idolized as a hero, was just a normal guy. I didn’t want to just watch actors be Power Rangers, I wanted to be a real hero - someone who helped others. I realized that by applying the values of discipline, perseverance, honesty, and integrity, I could make a real difference.

I fight for the underdog and stand up for the bullied kid. When caught in the mainstream, I furiously paddle away from the status quo. I believe that our one common purpose in this world is to help each other live our best life possible. In High School, I took every opportunity to help others and reach out to my community. Christian Service class was a highlight for me.

This was a new adventure and a chance to transfer to a larger, more prestigious college. We were all looking forward to this new chapter, but as in any good story, there was a plot twist. The home my parents purchased had sustained extensive water damage, a fact that, much to our dismay, had escaped the notice of the home inspector. So, ready to embark on our new adventure we found ourselves dwarfed by a seemingly insurmountable obstacle. Working together, we made decisions and created a plan. With the help of copious YouTube videos, we even managed to do some of the work ourselves. It ended up being a strangely satisfying experience for me. When faced with a problem I was able to work toward a solution, buoy the spirits of those around me when the task loomed too large to overcome and work past the muscle fatigue to accomplish a
