Power Of One: The Mission Of My Organizational Culture

The mission of my organization is “…will collaborate with patients and their families to be the leader in providing high quality, cost-effective patient-and family – centered care. Services will be provided in a manner which supports the health ministries ... to benefit the communities we serve” (Standards of Conduct, 2007, p. 2). I feel my organization is unique in that it emphasizes a “Power of One” organizational culture that is not only taught but stressed continually.
The organizational culture is formulated by our values and guiding behaviors, which our text would describe as a code of ethics. They include service, quality, integrity, teamwork, and innovation (Our Mission, n.d.). These values foster the organization committment to
