The people rely on these advancements and do not notice the effects they are having on them and their lifestyle. New technology has caused the people of the world to be lazy. The people in the United States are obese because they do not have to do anything for themselves. The mice are used for a test named the Draize and LD50. The Draize experiment involves the scientist to put chemicals in the eyes of the rabbits. Not only are the chemicals painful but, they also cause the rabbits to go blind. The LD50 is an experiment that puts harmful chemicals in the stomach of the animals until they die. These experiments cause much harm and pain to these animals that has never hurt or harm anyone. It is unfair that an innocent animal has to lose its life for a product the humans do not need for survival. The experiments tested on the animals cannot be done without some type of animal abuse. Most of the animals uses in these experiments are forced to be tested upon and killed after. When the scientist are done with the animals, they kill them because they cannot be used anymore. The scientist are using the animals and do not consider to nourish the animals back to health. Even when they are done with the animals, they still continue to harm them. In Columbia, Missouri, a company called Beyond Meat are constructing meat that does not include meat at all. The purpose of having meat is for the meat to give the human the protein they need in everyday life. The company is trying to figure out a way to produce “meat” by using plants. If the company does this, then that the number of plant will decrease and the number of animals will rise dramatically. The animals will eat the plants and plants will also be used to make the “meat” humans will eat. If the company invent a machine or chemical that can turn plants into meat, the number of grain and wheat will drop because now instead of using grain and wheat for just bread and cereal, they will also be used to produce meat. There has been talk about scientist creating genetically mutated babies, body parts, and major organs. The scientist think they are helping the people of the word but they are really hurting it. Scientist are not perfect and they often have recalls on some of the products they have made. If a genetically major organ is produced wrong, then the person could possibly die.
