“Does power makes a person corrupt? This is one of famous expressions that people talk about it. The best example would be the Shakespeare’s play “Macbeth”. Macbeth starts his life with peaceful but as he gained power he became crueler. There are three reason that brought changes in Macbeth life – desire for the power, role of witches, and role of Macbeth wife’s. Macbeth is the protagonist of the play. After hearing the witches’ prophecy Macbeth becomes more challenged by his desires for the power. He is desperate to become the king, but he is not sure how secure his fate. He thinks to wait for the right time. However, he is persuaded by lady Macbeth and she wants him to kill the king Duncan. Eventually, Macbeth agrees with her.
