This year we, the community service group, wanted to host our second annual powder puff football game. First we had to find a cause to hold the game in honor of. We figured Cystic Fibrosis was the perfect disease to try to inform our community about in a fun and interesting way. We have a student in our school district with this deadly disease and wanted to help her spread awareness.
Our first decision to make was where to host this event. We knew from the previous year that hosting the game on our own high school football field works out perfectly. After once again gaining approval from our principal/superintendent, we set the date of the game to November 10, 2015. Next, we hung sign-up sheets throughout the school. The opening spots

    Essay On Bucs Offense

The Buccaneers haven’t exactly kept it a secret that they will spend a lot of time this season running a no-huddle, hurry-up offense. Second year quarterback Jameis Winston and the Bucs offense put together their best game of the preseason against the Cleveland Browns when Tampa ran out of the no-huddle every play the starters were on the field. Head coach Dirk Koetter surely couldn’t expect to use the hurry-up approach that much in a regular season game, could he? Winston and the offense have all said they would rather operate out of the no-huddle system.…

The Battle of The Bone Rivalry This past week the biggest rivalry football game of the year was played in Chino Hills. The game was between the Chino Hills Huskies and the Chino Hills Bulldogs; this is a rivalry that has been going on since the start of the schools. The nickname that was given to the big game was the “ Battle of the Bone.” This rivalry is a center piece to both schools, even after Chino Hills High School moved to a new sport division and could not compete against the Bulldogs in the actual football season; many people thought the rivalry would be dead. Likely the teams found a way to make the rivalry continue after the division changes.…

From all the years of football in Salem you get a lot of sayings and old traditions that the community and players live on. “The Proving Grounds” a sign that hangs above all four of Salem’s practice fields has been the staple to how hard the players go in practice to prove themselves. Then you have Mac n Bobs a restaurant in Salem where before a Friday night game about everyone in Salem is there and after all the high schoolers and football players go back to watch Friday football extra. There are many in the grassroots community that feel the NFL has not created a public affairs campaign concerning the safety of playing football at all levels. Increased player safety has been a priority of the evolution of the game and the league is proud to say that the game is safer and more exciting than ever. Gone Home is a narrative exploration game by the company Fullbright that stars Kaitlin Greenbriar returning to her family home after being overseas. Gone Home is often questioned on the complexity of its game play, and is often thought to be more of an interactive story, however it does fulfill the requirements of a game and I will be discussing various game play mechanics in Gone Home such as the different objects and their attributes, rules for game play and the overall design that help to support the narrative, as well as how all of this is used to create an effective story and why this is the best medium for such a story. I will start by giving the briefest of summaries; the game opens with Kaitlin, who we control in a first person perspective, returning home to a locked house all set in the 90s Their is a note left…
