I feel privileged for growing up in a household where there was no shortage of money because of the hard work of my parents. I noticed a lot of teenagers who had to find jobs during stimulation to pay for their house bills. Children living in poverty have to grow up fast to help their families. One thing that I disliked about the stimulation was about not getting enough information about different organizations like welfare, social services, and etc. There could have been a brief discussion about this in the beginning of the stimulation for the organizations to be useful. After the stimulation I realized how much stress that families have to go through to get their kids to school, provide for their education along with taking care of the family. After the stimulation I have realized how only a few dollars can help put food on the table or save money for transportation to work and how we kids spend without thinking. If people started donating a few dollars to the poor that can make a big difference. In spite the fact that I was not able to know exactly the percentage of poverty, I feel like educating the poor about different resources can ease their daily life like taking advantage to the SNAP benefits if they fall under the required income. Despite the fact that the stimulation has only given me a quick look of what it is like to live in poverty, I would recommend this experience of stimulation to students and even adults. I feel very happy of being able to take part in the poverty
