Poverty Solution Essay

There are many problems in the world that are causing bad things to humans and the countries they live in. But one stands out more to me than others and that is poverty. Poverty affects over 3 billion people. That is almost half of the whole world and to me that is ridiculous. These 3 billion people live on less than 2.50 a day. It has to be hard to not only try and supply food for you but for your family as well.
Poverty can lead to many things. It can lead to being homeless, malnourishment, diseases, and many other things. Without money you can 't pay for the most basic needs to live like shelter and water. Without these requirements, you are most likely going to die. People without money can 't afford any of these so they are likely to die. Since they can 't afford to buy shelter or food they are forced to live on the streets which is no wear near safe for them. They are likely to develop diseases and become malnourished. But

I think to solve the problem in rural areas is to have volunteers and show them how to grow their own food. If people in poverty can learn to grow their own food they can sell their food and even eat. But this solution can only solve poverty for people in rural areas that have land. I think i have a solution to solve poverty in the cities. People who are in poverty and don 't have a home should have access to a year round shelter, not just one during the winter. These shelters can give them food, water, and a roof over their head. All of this will cost money so the people in poverty can give a helping hand. Maybe they can help the city do jobs that normal people don 't want to do so they clean up the parks and streets and in return they are giving meals and a place to sleep. This system can keep people off the streets and away from diseases and other harmful things. It may not be a fast solving idea but i believe that in the long run that it will help out a
