Access to Preventative Health Care Access to preventative healthcare was not possible because low socio-economic population do not worry of this issue unless they are in the late stage of their illness. They are busy providing and making ends meets that they forget to take care of their health. The access to preventative healthcare is there, but awareness needs to be enforced because majority of the people that do not use the resources are unaware of its existence.

It was a good learning experience to be in that simulation because I learned and value what I have in life. It is very difficult being in that situation. I will not take my future for granted and keep dreaming big to be financially stable and live life comfortably. People in poverty are sometimes used to where they are and are just normal for them, but it is really hard for the children who can’t do anything. People in poverty are forgetting the resources available for them because they are busy looking for money to make ends meet. People in poverty need to be informed what aid is/are available for them to indulge. Most of the time, resources do not reach to them because of lack of education and knowledge.
7. How will this experience change your nursing practice?
This experience will make me a better nurse. There are so many field nursing can practice and I believe community nursing is an option for me in the near future. Community nurse is great asset to have in the rural area. It is such an honor to work with people in need. I will use my knowledge to practice nursing fairly and will and forever continue to provide the best and safest care to each and every patient I will encounter. I am going to be practicing with compassion and will stay true and honest to people at their vulnerable
