Poverty runs this world more than people like to think. Anup Shah states that, “Almost half of the world- three billion people- live on less than $2.50 per day” (Global Stats). That’s shocking to most people, since they’re so ignorant of the issue since they are not in that particular issue. Poverty should be fixed by the government because of so many people in the world that suffers from poverty. This problem needs to be addressed, not hidden.

Poverty generates from everything, not just a few things. But It all begins with the economy and government; lack of jobs and the government being corrupted or not doing nothing about the issue in hand. Which brings up inequality, if they do help, they only help certain people and not everyone. Then diseases come in to play. “The silent killers are poverty, easily preventable diseases and illnesses” (Causes of Poverty). Around 21,000 children die every day because of diseases. Which could have been preventable by the government.
What will happen if the problem isn’t fixed? Well more human will eventually will end up dying from lack of nutrition or from diseases, crime rate will go up from robbing or stealing, and the economies will high rocket; making the crime population higher than they are now. The time for solution will be a long but worth the waste. Ending poverty is take at least 10 to 20 years if people are looking to see poverty vanish. Cost to end poverty will be over $175.3 billion. For Americans wealthy they could easily help with the cost during taxes since America is known for having many billion and millionaires running around. It would be a great effect for people.
