The main reason of poverty is lack of education, or ignorance. I believe that the main reason of poverty in Africa, and the world is the lack of education. In Africa the children do not go to schools, and because of this when they grow up their chance of having a job is very small, and If they are not having jobs, this means that they can not to improve the economy of their countries because improving the country economy would help to decrease the rate of poverty. A research was done about how many kids go to schools in Sub-Saharan Africa, and it showed that 33 million of Primary- schools aged children do not go to schools, 17 million of them are girls.(https://achieveinafrica.wordpress.com/2009/04/15/facts-on-education-in-africa/). Another research was done also in Chicago and it is aim was showing the relation between education, and poverty. What the research showed is that when the person droops the school in any age this can have an individual and social impact on his life. Like dropping school when you are at high school would reduce your chance of getting job compared to the person who is in college. At the same time the person who drop the college his chance of getting good job would be less than the chance of the person who finished the college. The solution for all of these three things is very easy. The solution is that the governments have to exist a schools for the young people for free, and encourage their parents to send them to the schools because If their parents send them to schools, these children would get the knowledge, and if they get it, step by step they can go to the universities, and be qualified in whatever they want, and then since they are qualified their chance of getting jobs would be height, and if they get jobs they can improve their economy, and life situation. As a result, I want to mention a story of one of the African countries that was struggling with poverty, and crime, and how the they overcome them. The country is South Sudan. A Research was done about the experience of South Sudan with poverty, education, and crime, and how the education helped to reduce the poverty. The researcher start his research my saying that the education is the key for a successful household transition out of poverty. The researcher then explains to us in the introduction the hard situation between South Sudan, and Sudan that lasted for 21 years, and how this effects the economy, and because of weak economy the education was weak, so the children did not go to schools, and they were not even able to read, and write.
