At one point or another everyone has been short of money and felt like they have hit rock bottom. Society today is not aware of the amount of poverty that is all around them. Poverty can be observed on a large global scale but can also be observed in a smaller communal scale. There are many factors that contribute into increasing the amount of poverty in a community but there are ways in which poverty can be reduced. Often times poverty can be tracked down to a couple sources such as education, social exclusion, and family composition. Apart from having problems that cause poverty there are also government programs in some countries like the U.S. to help those who need it the most.
It is common sense or at least well know that in order to have a good income one must hold a prestige job. There is no way in denying that raising a family comes with expenses. In some cases where the families are of large quantities, parents can spends all their life paying bill after bill. Life can hit with unexpected expenses, such as medical bills or a change on family status, as a result families are left in debt. In a journal found at Princeton page, it is being stated that, “High divorce rates, falling marriage rates, and rising nonmarital birthrates over the past three decades have more than doubled the share of children living with single mothers.” (Haskins, Sawhill). Both authors try to put an emphasis on the fact the single mother struggle the most to support the expenses that come with children; these mothers struggle the most because they don’t have the financial help of a second parent. The way in which a family is compose plays a huge role on how the poverty rate increase or
