As a Transitional Care Nurse that works with the Medicaid population I see firsthand the toll that poverty plays on the populations health. How the difference in your zip code plays a major role in the healthcare that you receive. So, I chose poverty as a sustainable developmental goal that I would like to summarize. By 2030 the number one goal is to end extreme poverty everywhere or to reduce the poverty level by half for all men, women, and children. To also make sure that the people that live in poverty have the same rights as everyone else in the population. There is currently people living in extreme poverty.
