We put a picture in our postcard of the front of the V building where students drop off their kids for the day. This building looks very appealing which creates an impression of safety and security for their children. As we continued our project we took multiple pictures of the facility to express the colleges child care center. Also, we chose this picture because to students it looks comforting and welcoming. Then, we added a picture of the front desk and the receptionist making a phone call. This image shows that their is always someone there to assist right when the parent walks in. There are plants and colorful photos everywhere which portrays a friendly and fun impact on the parents. Then we decided to take a photo of the class to get a better image of the area. The classroom is filled with toys, their classwork, and different activates to do. This provides a positive image of the child center and play area. It has desks and tables where they can work together and be social. Then, we added a …show more content…

The layout is colorful, vibrant, and visually appealing which influences the overall pleasant yet open view of the campus. The images makes the postcard engaging and gives a stunning outlook on the facilities. We added the color red to the background as well as the white font to represent the school colors. As the campus gives the pleasant tone and sweet image provided by the school this is used to enhance the beautification of our postcard. We decided to use the different picture layouts to represent the importance of each photo. In addition to the photos, the postcard was written in two different fonts. First, the font written “Santa Ana College” is bold and is formal looking. This represents the school name and can grab a students attention. The unique fonts brings an entertaining yet calming view of S.A.C. The font with the iconic Disney letters shows that its child friendly and catches a child’s eye. Our slogan for this postcard is, “parents and children learning together.” This means that parents that go to this college are continuing their education as well as their

From the parking lot into the school, I see Kennedy ’s quote, painted on the edge of the entrance, stating, “Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country.” Many other quotes by graduating classes were painted on the edge of the hallway overheads with the year underneath and all meant to inspire people. On the day of the event, I became hesitant in my choice of attending the lecture. I knew what the lecture was scheduled to be about, but I questioned if I would be welcomed to participate, even with it being open to the public. The atmosphere on campus inspired me. Every couple of feet, the NC State emblem is built into the sidewalk with white bricks on a maroon background. Seeing the different ethnicities of students as I walked to the Talley Student Union was different from what I had become accustomed to with working on the campus of a historically black college/university.…

The respectably moderately sized classroom consisted of twenty students. Although the classroom was not substantially dense in population, multiple students did require Individualized Education Programs (IEP). This subgroup of students included three emotional based IEPs. Consequently, the third grass class of Mrs. Hale possessed a wide-range of skill sets between students academically and emotionally.…

Spending two and half hours in each classroom, I learned a great deal about early childhood education from ages birth through eight, and the effort and skills that it takes to create a stimulating learning environment. For my infant, toddler, and preschool observations, I spent my hours at the CCC Childcare Center located in our college while for my kindergarten, 1st grade, 2nd grade observations, I spent my time at Casey Park Elementary School. During my observations at the CCC Childcare Center, I learned plenty about the methods and practices that go into early education before primary grades. The preschool classroom really stood out to me because the centers in the classroom were very open ended and filled with lots of manipulative for…
