If you’re new to the world of fitness, you’ll be hearing lots of new lingo thrown around like “post workout” and may not be sure what these new terms mean.
Of course, you’re going to have to get down with this type of talk if you want to play in the yard with the "big dogs".
Otherwise you will remain forever on the porch with the "puppies". (Sorry, I promise to stop with these lame analogies.)
So let’s take some time to look at what post workout means exactly and how to take your post workout game to the next level like a pro.
When you hear the term ‘post workout’ we are literally just talking about the time immediately after you finish a gym session.
Regardless of whether it’s cardio, bodyweight training, time with the iron or a mixture of these, post workout is that magic window after you finish training where a few tricks can boost your performance and your results.

After a workout is the optimum time to replenish specific nutrients which will help you get better gains.

Why is Post Workout Nutrition Important?
We are all aware that being a workout warrior allows for a number of physical and aesthetic benefits - meaning not only do you gain weight, size and strength, but you look better in a shirt than the guy who’s never trained in his life!
The thing is, exercise - both endurance and strength training - is a physical stressor. It puts strain on your body.
