Some traumatic event that can cause PTSD are, war, rape, kid napping, childhood neglect, and sudden death of a loved one. After danger passes the body usally returns to normal. PTSD can develop diffrently from person to person because everyonse nervous system and tolerance for stress is a little diffrent. Your body may feel stuck with painful memories and a constant sense of voulnerability. Your nervous system has two automatic or reflexive ways of responding to stressful events.
If you have PTSD your behavior may change to the following, agitation, irritability, hostility, and self-destructive. Your mood may change to, loss of intrest, guilt, and loneliness. You may have insoming or nightmares. You may try to avoid activities, places, or thoughts that remind you of the trauma or be unable to remember important aspects of the event. When you're suffering from PTSD, exercise can do more than just release endorphins and improve you're mood and out look. There are plenty of things you can do to alleviate your PTSD symptome, reduce anxiety and fear, and take back control of you're life. Medication is sometimes perscribed to people with PTSD to relive secondary symptoms of depression or anxiety, although they do not treat the causes of PTSD.
