Disability has been an everyday topic within the medical world. But at the times it’s not talked about past those walls, and if it was, it’s the normal autism and bi-polar that a couple people may have. Although there are many other disabilities out there such as Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). People often only look towards veterans and adults that may have the disability, not the youth and adolescence that might have it. PTSD widely known as a main health issue when it comes to people who went to war, but there are those who are affected with the disease that never went through any type of war. Adolescents can have Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder also. Some tragedy that might transpire in their life has caused them to fall into the clutches of the well-known disease. Yet the talk of adolescents having the disability can be a real touchy subject in most cases.  8

Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a mental health problem that some people develop after experiencing or witnessing a life-threating event, sexual assault, violence or car accident. PTSD can affect anyone, no matter the age range of the victim. Alike adult’s kids well up to adolescent can to succumb to such a tragedy, which is more common after certain types of trauma, physical and mental abuse, along with witnessing war and different types of violence can be another result of PTSD.
