Post-traumatic Stress Disorder in Veterans
Veterans are viewed as strong, smart, courageous, and heroes consequently, veterans do so much for the citizens of the United States, but not enough is done in return for their fighting to protect America. They go through so much trauma from the wars overseas, it isn’t shocking if they come home with Post-traumatic Stress Disorder. It doesn’t mean that they are crippled it just means that their mind is triggered (by something that reminds them of the event) replaying traumatic events that occurred giving them anxiety.
