Plastic is a very useful and universal product that is soft and flexible and used in everyday living. Plastic is used in almost everything like shower curtains, kid’s toys, water bottles, pvc pipes for houses and buildings and even teething toys for babies. It might seem that the ocean is huge and there’s plenty fish in the sea. The changes in the ocean aren’t caused by pollution. Their just changes of the planets natural orbit some may say. Education programs are being made to students and teachers. These programs help students and their peers to be more aware of pollution and the causes. These are some ways to help prevent pollution now and in the future. These programs help teach kids and their peers with activities on prevention in the class room. Some activities are the class room goes around the inside and outside of the school and show kids and peers the trash that is laying around and for them to fix the problem by picking it up and throwing the trash in the right trash can. Does the trash go in the recycling bin trash can or a regular trash can? In class rooms teachers want kids to bring plastic bottles to school so they can teach students that it’s not only just a water bottle but you can make a greenhouse for a plant and watch the plant grow. Another way you can make decoration with water bottles, glass bottles, tin cans, and paper all you need is some paint, scissors, and an imagination. Schools may have a gust from a locale zoo or an environmental person to show kids what pollution does to us humans and life in the ocean and what we can do to help. These are some great programs, but they are and can be costly. Not all schools in the united states have funding for these types of programs. Some programs about pollution are for companies. Pollution is starting to be a big topic every were. A lot of companies are having policies to detain pollution in the ocean and on land. Laws are being made and enforced everywhere around the globe. Like for instance United Nations has laws since 1982. In 1982 Law of the sea was established to protect the ocean from being more polluted. There are laws in the United States like (EPA) which means Environmental Protection Agency. Every federal pollution control law or laws has to get authority from the state. The (NEPA) what it stands for is National Environmental Policy Act of 1969. (NEPA) Makes actions of polices like (CCA) Clean Air Act and (CWA) Clean Water Act Ext. Organic Acts is regulations of role of agencies in the United States pollution control. Under this act helps create and empower agencies, as well limits their roles. By congress because the legislature can’t always foresee elements that will be Air, water, drinking water, ocean, coastal, ground/toxins and general to pollution and safety. Lots of laws are established for the environment to protect our ocean waters and planet. These laws can make our planet less polluted with a lot of green products to homes that helps to conserve electricity and water and a lot of less waste dumped into the sewers.
