Possibilities In Shakespeare's Romeo And Juliet

What possibilities might one face, when facing with different beliefs and opinions from others? Most likely, people will go two ways with this. People will tend to fit in and accept belief and values of others or they will disregard others and follow their own beliefs and opinion. The book Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare shows possibilities for both options along the story.
There are many possibilities when enforcing other’s beliefs and values onto one’s self. It’s a sign of fitting in. A great example would be the Montagues and the Capulet’s family. By the description of William Shakespeare, the two families have disfavored each other since past generations. In the plot of the story the Montague’s family is portrayed by Romeo’s parent and the Capulet’s family is expressed by Juliet’s family. There maybe wasn’t any big conflict between those two sets of parents, but both sets of family still hold the hatred against each other in order to fit in. When upholding one’s own beliefs and opinion, most likely one will have to deal with stress and pressure from other, like the marriage of Romeo and Juliet. For example, in the story Romeo and Juliet both knew their parents won’t let them get married, but they still did it anyway. This action is going against the belief of their parents. During the end of the book Juliet was told to drink the sleeping potion in order to escape marrying someone she doesn’t love. When Romeo found out Juliet was dead, he had misunderstood the situation. Romeo later drink the poison potion and died next to Juliet in the tomb. When Juliet arise from her sleep, she found out that Romeo was dead; she stabbed herself with a dagger, and died next to Romeo. This result shows the reader that upholding own beliefs and opinion could result in
